Batman was looking over different forms, sheets and readouts. "You're covered in temporal energy. You match my genetics as much as a child would, maybe more, " a sheet was flipped, "You need rest. You need to relax. You have a minor concussion, your head isn't traumatic, but your confusion shows on some of the readouts." He set the papers aside. "I believe you, but you have to earn my trust," he said firmly.
Terry has removed the suit of his, and is resting as best he can. "Somethings never change old man." It's said in a tone that hinted at fondness. As he tries to sit up a little straighter in his his chair he coughs a few times. "Rest, when do you ever take time to rest and properly heal?" Terry says and shaking his head trying to clear his thoughts.
"Well Ask what you want to ask. I'll answer them as best I can. And With as must truth as I can. As for our Genetic Match, I know. I know. You couldn't imagine how angry I was when I found out Old man." Providing Terry was provided something to drink he will drink some water, soda, or anything. "This night has turn into one big Slag fest."
"Only when I have to," these times rarely happens but they did. Often it included a bunch of the bat-family trying to tie him down. When they came at him in numbers he would listen and rest, but only then. The collective effort told him it was time to rest. Although, on a few nights he did slip out.
"You rest. I'll ask later. I believe you for now. We already have one temporal displaced member in our ranks, why can't there be two?" the question was meant to assure Terry. Sure, it was hard to come form a different time and place, literally, but he wasn't alone in that phenomenon.
When Terry listens to the Old man as he tries to Extend his hand and says, "One important question, What is the one rule you, you would teach any and all of your students? The one rule they and you are never ever to break?" Terry wants the answer To killing. Just to be sure he hasn't ended up in some parallel universe where Batman is a killer.
"I am eager to learn from you in your prime Old man." At that point Terry will lean back in the chair and most likely pass out for several hours.
"No guns. No killing," Batman said and started to head upstairs, after taking off the costume. It was time to let this future Batman rest. Once upstairs he tried to find Alfred.
