| Kobra Hunting

Much to the surprise of police and the ambulance company, they finally got a call from Hell's Gate from an elderly citizen who decided to remain anonymous stating, "Those [censored] Kobra are bleeding all over the place, I think some of them are dead. Can you come clean up this mess already?"
Police responded to the call in Hell's Gate to discover a number of Kobra members on the street, with surprisingly only dead, and six in intensive care considering the level of damage which appears to have included the tossing around of a dumpster and some sort of damage to the street as if there were localized quakes. Further Kobras where found hiding in a block and half radius needing desperate medical attention, not all lucid.
One stated they wished police protecting from the 'Big scary dyke', and others were reported to have burn wounds from what was believed to be from energy weapons. Other reports suggested a cloaked figure with red hair was at the scene, though the exact details were unclear and S.H.I.E.L.D. was eventually called in.
For those unfamiliar with Kobra, it is an organization that wishes for world domination and is often referred to as a cult. With believed prophesies, it is seen less as a money making venture as HYDRA and AIM can be, and rather almost religious in its viewpoints of its right to dominate the world. There has been a growing rate of young gang members joining Kobra and creating small-net communities within the cities of the United States and around the world, acting as an extension arm to the organization, but not having any real power or authority within it.
Detective Suarz stated, "I am honestly shocked at how many Kobra members were in Hell's Gate, and this does not even include the number that have escaped. This organization has originally oriented in Egypt, and the Middle East is still where the base of its power remains. Still, the number of outside recruits has dramatically increased since the marriage of the worlds, and it is something all citizens and law enforcements should be aware of and report any suspicious activity immediately. The rise of terrorism must come to an end, and everyone can be a hero by doing their part."
None of gangster victims if one chooses to refer to them as such has chosen to press charges, and many arrests were made for procession of illegal arms, and one member that was reported dead was said to have been a meta-human in procession of a new drug called Kick. Authorities have no official response on this new drug at this time, but there have been hinted statements that it could be very dangerous to meta-humans and mutants, to even causing death. It is not believed to be associated with the death of the Kobra member at this time.
