Purpose: Excalibur was the United Kingdom's premier superhero team. They were affiliated with the government, and did the work that requires a superhuman hand. Be it fighting Welsh dragons or keeping sleeping giants beneath the earth where they belong, from fighting vampires and other things that go bump in the night, Excalibur stood with the Union Jack waving, promoting defense for the common man against the supernatural and bizarre! For Britain and beyond! It is currently disbanded and inactive. History Excalibur is created to replace Black Air, which was taken down and deactivated due to corruption. It is founded by Pete Wisdom with the supported of Professor X. Professor X provids contacts and information to Pete Wisdom to bring Black Air down and found Excalibur. Pete Wisdom is promoted to the Director of Excalibur and reports director to the Prime Minister and Alistaire Stuart. Excalibur headquarters is established on Muir Island, Scotland along with the Muir Research Center, which is ran by Moira MacTaggert. Excalibur develops a contract with Stark International for support equipment (communication and spy gear) and transportation. The true purpose behind Excalibur is a research and investigation organization that utilizes top secret and beyond top secret stuff from the now-defunct Black Air and before. Publicly they are advertised as heroes. They truly do deal with the things that go bump in the night, things that the public can't know about for their own safety, as well as national threats. Excalibur dissolves after only a few years.
