Hath-Set is/was the Egyptian priest from the 19th Dynasty of Rameses II, who murdered Prince Khufu (aka Hawkman) and Princess Chay-Ara (aka Hawkgirl), using a cursed dagger forged from Nth Metal. As a result, all three are locked in a continuous cycle of reincarnations. Hath-Set is reincarnated through his descendants.
Background
Hath-Set murders Kendra a.k.a. Hawkgirl, for Hawkman to grieve upon his return to Earth.
Hath-Set discovers a new Hawkgirl with Hawkman happily superheroing. He plans their murder. However, when he (or rather she) is about to commit the deed, the Hawkgirl he killed earlier (Kendra) shows up in an ill-proper fitting outfit to stop him/her!
After getting beaten up by the Hawkgirls, Dr. Fate seals Hath-Set's powers and he is sent to a normal jail for criminal charges against kidnapping and attempted murder against the heroes. It was kept quiet in the public since he/she was suspected to behind the riots.
