Vandar Adg was a caveman, born 80,000 years ago. Leader of the Blood Tribe, a meteor crashed to the ground, bathing him in radiation, and granting him incredible intellect and immortality.
Vandal Savage is the name that Vandar took on when he determined his destiny - to rule everyone. Throughout history, Vandal Savage's name has repeatedly come up. He is responsible for the sinking of the Lost City of Atlantis. He was the former of the Illuminati (and still is the leader of that organization). He's advised kings and emperors, pharoahs and god-kings. Wealthy beyond imagination of the richest people on Earth, money has no meaning for him. He's caused devastation and advancements for mankind (although often with immoral and unscrupulous costs). He formed the first true civilization of Sumer. He has been a laborer, a scientist, a doctor, a soldier, an advisor.... but most of all a conqueror and ruler. He has advised many of the world's tyrant and despots - from Erik the Red to Napoleon Bonaparte to Ra's Al Ghul, from Otto von Bismarck to Adolf Hitler. He has ruled hundreds of civilizations with just under just as many names - names such as Khafre, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Genghis Khan, and Vlad the Impaler. He has even been rumored to be the original inspiration for the story of 'Cain' from the Bible.
